The Bigger Tent Education Fund (BTEF), a 501(c)(3) project of the GoodNation Foundation, helps state and local organizations representing socially and ideologically diverse stakeholders coordinate non-political, non-partisan civic engagement efforts that:
- build the enduring state and local civic capacities that working-class communities* need to thrive, and
- support the success of civic leaders focused on the values and policy priorities that such communities share with a supermajority of voters.
* By “working-class communities”, BTEF means the places and networks of people across all income and education levels in which a majority of people share the practices and values associated with working-class culture.
